Nextstep brings people, projects, and research into a workspace stored on your computer. I design and build the product, from the React interface and Electron app to the SQLite data model and agent integration. Collections, fields, and views can change with the work.
02 / Design
Make the agent's work visible.
A table gives you a familiar view of the data. Collections sit alongside agent progress, proposed changes, and history. Onboarding helps connect an agent you already use. The interface keeps setup, review, and everyday browsing in one place.
03 / Engineering
Propose first. Review before applying.
The default MCP connection lets an agent read and propose changes. Review shows the values before and after; approval validates the change as a whole. Stale proposals cannot overwrite newer decisions. SQLite keeps the workspace local, with export and optional private self-hosting.
